Saddam just did not have the balls to pull the trigger on the Glock.  ;)  What happened to the AK-47 that Saddam had with him in the bunker?

Who can blame him?  I wouldn't want my life to depend upon a Glock, either.   ;D
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Better than limp necking it.  Seriously I am glad that none or our gyrs were hurt, but you would think that with all that swagger and bravado over the years, he would have pulled a Butch and Sundance. To quote Ice-T "How did he go out? He went out like a B!#@"! ::)

To be honest it didn't surprise me.  One of those "tough guys" who is only tough when he has backup.

That isn't exactly fair to him, He was NEVER a soldier, his entire career with the Baa'thist Party was as a Political organizer/ activist. The only time he ever attempted a direct action, (assassinating the Prime minister ) his pistol jammed, in the only other documented armed encounter he engaged in when all the real fighters with him were killed he surrendered and was exiled. His actions were completely in keeping with his past, and the finality of his sentence probably came as a huge shock to him.

That and the 'sudden stop' at the end.    ;)
