Well, you can keep it in the car trunk as an emergency gun....

*psst! 33 round magazines.

There were some at the gun store, but the owner was keeping them to sell with this foldable Kel-tec rifle (Gunblast). I didn't feel like trying to talk him into selling me one, that and I was out of money.

Don't worry about me and the dark side. I just need to familiarize myself with the weapons of the less sophisticated persons out there.  :P

Strangely enough though, it was voted #3 of the top 10 handguns by American Rifleman. I know, I know... it still doesn't justify it. Feeling a bit stupid on this day. Told ya it was freaking hot out.

Medical diagnose: Purchase of Block due to exposure.

Tex, all kidding aside, I have a Belgian made Browning High Power that looks about as good as it did when it was sold back in the sixties. I love that gun. I also have two Glocks. If I had to bug out for an extended camping trip in the Everglades, I'd take a Glock, and that's the God's honest truth. The Browning  is a better gun, the Glock will go bang even with the rain and the mud and the salt water.

Real guns are steel guns.

Or aluminum alloy Sigs. ;)  Plastic guns are for little girl's tea parties. ;D  But that's why you got range guns, Glocks and XD's, and combat weapons, Sigs and 1911's.

I've been working metal for over 20 years, I wouldn't by an aluminum pistol either.

Then no Sigs for you.  Aluminum is good enough for fighting rifles and pistols, but not Tom?

Great choice True Texan. Don't worry about the other remarks, with the exception of Haz cause the Cat is temper mental, LOL ;D

I have had two Glock 17's. The only reason I got rid of them was to get higher caliber Glocks. I am thoroughly enjoying my .40 Cal types, but have been missing my G17. But my next purchase will be a Glock 35 or a Glock 30. And I am selling off my Smith and Wesson M&P 9c as soon as I can. I will use the trade to pay for one and pay full price for the other if need be.  ;)
