Friday Noon -

I'm sitting in a meeting at work;

One of the other offices is answering my phones so I don't get disturbed;

Shortly after one the phone vibrates, and I make my way out to answer it since it one of the guys watching my phones;

It is work for me;

Not so happy ending for a couple that just returned from their first cruise;

Call a couple of the kids to get details, and get things organized;

Make sure everyone is on the same page, things are as organized as possible, and mom is ok alone that far from home;

Make contact with those helping us down there;

Everything is going very well and professional until this point ... He's in Ft. Lauderdale ... I can do this and get a real, genuine Hazaritta on the company dime!

You guys have scarred me for life    How far a drive is it from Mountain Lake to St. Petersburg

Mountain Lake where?  If yer talkin' Mountain Lake Station FL it's about 80 miles.

Ft Lauderdale to St Pete is about 3.5 - 4 hours

He's coming all the way from Minnesota.  I haven't talked to him today, so maybe he's on the road......although he didn't say anything about it when I talked to him on the phone yesterday afternoon.

In all seriousness, if you do use I-75, pretty much everywhere from Tift County south, to the Florida line, is one big speed trap.....but Tifton (exit 59 overpass) is the worst.
