After a light cleaning and TLC, (since it came back so dirty), it appears a slight fluff & buff of the feed ramp was done. I never had problems with feeding, but whatever.
Got to the range and shot 50 rds. of Magtech 90gr. FMJ, before anything. Blazed through the whole box right off the bat to get the foreplay out of the way, warm me and the Walther up.
NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. Than loaded in 5 round strings.
Remington 102gr Golden Sabre JHP
Speer Gold Dot 90gr. GDHP
Georgia Arms 90gr. JHP
Cor-Bon DPX 80gr SD Ammo
All shots were 10yds. Total rds. were 150. (The range had Magtech FMJ's in stock, $18.99 per box) But the premium ammo was used sparingly.. Buggers are hard to get.

NO ISSUES. Feeding was smooth even with the Golden Sabre's that have the largest HP. Cycling was fine. Spent rounds were thrown out consistently, DA pull was long, but broke clean at a given point that's not unacceptable; but DA will be the first shot taken in an SD situation.
I give it a thumbs up, feels smoother than before, and the de-cocker doesn't feel like bone on bone when used.

Before I cleaned it.
For those that got their Walther back, or have yet to send it, the recall thing sucks, period. We all know it. Bitter tastes have been left in the mouths of gunowners that get used to a firearm and than have to send it to the mothership to be "God knows what" to CYA an issue.
Jumbo, I know S&W will not do anything to your 75th Ann. Model. They are smarter than that. I hope this helps. I might be a lucky one, but still enjoy all my S&W's. Hope this helps.
It went bang when called to do so, I think that's all any of us want out of any firearm.
Although, they had this "G" gun Mod 23 that was,.....I fought the power of the dark side, but it will be even harder next time.

Is $575 too high? Seems high to me for the "G"...
