OK.  How often do you normally clean your guns?  Not when breaking in, but after.

May not be the same day after a range trip, but within 48 hours, the "girls" don't like being dirty too long,... ::)

OK, the M+P is a dirty girl, and can take it..... ;)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I like dirty guns. The dirtier the better. It means they've really been loved. I do keep my Rem 700 VSSF .308 clean though. I clean it at the range when I'm done shooting, then fire 1 or 2 rounds to make sure zero hasn't changed. I clean my 1911's when they start to slow down. Take a screwdriver, knock out the chunks, add some oil and we're good to go. All the gunk helps keep the gun from drying out.  ;)

The only time I will completely disassemble and clean a gun is if I'm doing something to it and don't have any other choice.  ;D

I'm doing okay. Sort of. Better than I was last month. I'm ready to do some shooting soon. I keep forgetting my Dunk-Kit from C&S. Just throw a dirty gun in thr bucket and let it soak overnight. Then brush off with a tooth brush and wipe it dry. That's all. I haven't given it a good workout yet but it seems to work as advertised. http://www.cylinder-slide.com/dunkkitart.shtml

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them
