They're convinced that the people of this country are too fat and happy to take that next step.

Not the 9.6+ % who they admit are unemployed . They need to think about that. Especially in light of the rising inflation

WASHINGTON – Consumer prices shot up in June by the largest amount in 11 months, reflecting the biggest jump in gasoline prices in nearly five years.

The Labor Department said Wednesday that inflation at the consumer level rose by 0.7 percent last month, slightly higher than the 0.6 percent increase that economists were expecting. It was the biggest one-month gain since a 0.7 percent increase last July.

That's just what they are admitting to AFTER they juggle the numbers. And you will notice they are careful not to mention what actual % it increased FROM.  0.7% of WHAT ?

This Pi%$#es me off beyond belief. The BHO administration spends every day subverting the Constitution. Now I guess that they want to ensure that people don't know what it says. How the hell can you even think of banning people from a 4th of July parade for handing out a pocket Constitution? WTF >:(

Well, what do you expect, it's the forth of July, it's all about cook outs, fireworks and summer vacations. It's not as if it Independence Day or anything.

That's right, they don't count high school and college students that can't find a job, they don't count the people who's benifits already ran out.
They pull the same sort of stunts with the inflation rate.
If figured honestly and accurately both are probably around 20%

In Michigan the official unemployment rate is around 15%.  Unofficially state officials believe it is greater than 25%.
80% of this years college graduates are unemployed.  I figure DC likes it like that so they can have another bail out for unemployed graduates with student loans coming due in a few months.  Of course the bail out will come with some kind of public service strings attached requireing that the recent unemployed graduate to endenture their soul to the new socialist order.

Don't forget how they (Clinton Administration started this) reduced the number of unemployed by reducing the number of weeks an unemployed person was counted as unemployed before "assuming" they had a job and that the military was included in the total population of "employees" which reduced the percent unemployed even more.
