When I was in High School, I use to get cash under the table for workin the Shoot here at Knob Creek every year.  You are right though, it has gotten so big its almost more of a hassle than it is worth to go.  I live 20 minutes from the range...

Also, there is a new indoor range (indoor paintball course too) here in Louisville that has a 100 yd indoor range for rifles, and they rent fully autos as well...

I didn't realize that you were in that neck of the woods. We lived in Elizabethtown for just over 3 years. That's some mighty fine country.

We used to hit Thunder every year. We got there bright and early and pitched a big tent right up front by the river. My daughter was 5 to 8 during our time there. She was (and is) a pretty little blue eyed blonde (16 now) and she was interviewed by a local Louisville news station all 3 years. The whole family really enjoyed our time in Kentucky. We've been blessed to live all over this great country and I've spent quite a few years overseas too. Life is a great adventure.

I need a few months to take care of and recover from some health issues, but then we plan on doing plenty of traveling. Florida will definitely be on the list. Don't be surprised when you get a phone call from a fella with a Texas drawl.
