This is really sweet. Just got my comfirmation letter from Glock to attend a Armorer Class next month. I have not been a armorer since I was in the Air Force from 88-91. We did not have Glocks either, damn it. Looking forward to learning more about the firearm I have adored and carried since 1993.

Awesome Ping. Congratulations. It can't be too hard to become a Glock armorer for a man with your experience. Glock simplicity. Glock perfection.

You are hilarious Tom and thanks Kid. I am looking forward to it and was told I would have some business sent my way from people who want to add or trick out their Glock. Changing springs and adding different sights is one of the things I want to do with my Glock. I prefer adjustable rear sights for all my Glocks.

Post back a review of the class.  I have been thinking about attending one and even taking the advanced class.

Looking forward to getting that under my belt and eventually take a Combat Focus Shooting Course. Just want to get as much experience as possible. Now if the lottery would draw my numbers, dang it.

Practice your disassembly and reassembly, as at the end of the class the fastest wins a pistol , or at least when I went through. Also you get to order a new pistol, It was 265.00 when I went through, but definitely a discount off of msrp, + an 11% excise tax. I went through in 1993, I hope these things still apply.

Do you know how to detail strip, if not I will try to let you know the tricks.
