Dear Senator Klobuchar,

Please explain your vote this morning that will continue the travesty of restricting Second Amendment Rights of law abiding citizens of this great nation.

Sincerely,

Same e-mail sent to both Senators (Klobuchar and Franken).

I will be posting their replies if and when they ever send me one ... no matter what they say or don't say.

It might be possible to apply pressure to Klobuchar because she will be up for re-election in 2010.  I don't think “Senator Satirist” would listen even if up for re-election.  He is a hardcore liberal.

Doesn't matter whether they care of not.  I intend to be there all the time - good or bad.  I will not go away, and these two will know my name!  Some day I will meet with them, and when we are introduced I hope they are glad to meet me, but more than likely it will be an "OH  SHIT" moment.

Representative Walz recognizes my name, and the tone of his e-mails has changed ... not the message, but the tone.  I have not been able to get away from work when he has been in the area, but some day I will.  He and I are neutral right now.  Too bad it is made up of views and opinions from the extreme opposites.

On the Amendment (Thune Amdt. No. 1618 )

To amend chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to allow citizens who have concealed carry permits from the State in which they reside to carry concealed firearms in another State that grants concealed carry permits, if the individual complies with the laws of the State.

Both of our Texas Republican Senators voted yea, no big surprise. It's a shame that we missed it by only 2 votes. We'll get 'em next time, hopefully is is brought back up in 2010 when we have a huge Republican majority.
