Actually there will be no Republican majority until 2011.  (Election is November, 2010, but I knew what you meant, Kid)

Once more I am ashamed to be "represented" (and I use that term loosely) by Tom Harkin.  It's time for that asshat to be sent back to his home in Puerto Wherever-the-hell-it-is-that-he-has-his-primary-residence, and retire.

Barring that, it's time for Tom's rope.

Ok, thank you e-mail has been sent to Senator Grassley, and request for explanation (actually I did a copy/paste of your e-mail, m58) has been sent to Harkin.  Let's see which one replies.

no suprise from MA but the two VT seats voted against.  ???

The state with NO CCW requirement, carry if you want too, open carry allowed, anyone from all 50 states can carry there as well and the two dimwits voted against.....

I was amazed that this was not as much a party line vote as I thought it would be.  I think that with only a few changes it could go the other way.

I know that you'll never change our class clown, but if we could get Klobuchar to swing a little we'd be good.  One issue is that these two are party line robots  >:(  And, Franken is more a New Yorker than anything else  >:(

I don't know about you, but I don't want any rep that will only vote "party lines"    I want one that will actually think, and lisen to thier constituents.

They have those?

Surprise to me was that Wisconsin, that has no CCW, had a split vote.  If you read the amendment it states that any state that does not offer CCW would not have to accept anyone else, so nothing would have changed in Chicagoland if this had passed, but they still felt the need to beat it down  >:(
