This has been festering for some time now. And I say it is time for Israel to finish off Iran. Iran has been waging a proxy war with Israel for decades through the likes of Hizbollah, Hamas, and others.

But when this attack comes, it is going to get ugly, really ugly. I expect to see Russia move to invade Israel through Syria in a bid to assist their Iranian allies. And when that happens, we will see the second nation in the world to use tactical nuclear weapons in a war. I'm told Israel has weapons (neutron bombs) that will allow them to use them in close proximity but will not yield the radioactive fallout that conventional nukes yield; but what do I know....

The fallout from this conflict will be the Israelis will be victorious and the Arab states will be severely weakened. This will allow the Israelis to do what it has always wanted to do and that is to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. This will be coordinated with their new "friends," the European Union. And when this happens, things are really going to get interesting..........

If Israel launches a conventional attack against Iran as they did Iraq and Syria Russia will do nothing, Iran is NOT a Russian ally, the Iranians only hate the Russians slightly less than they hate us.
While it would remove Iran's nuke capability it will have no effect on their rocket and missile capabilities, and it will lead to an upsurge in attacks by Hezbollah.
It will also not have any effect on the Palestinian situation. Barring a general nuke exchange in the region (which will not happen unless Iran starts it) the chances of the Temple being rebuilt in the foreseeable future are slim to none.
Also, don't put to much faith in relations between Israel and the EU There is a lot of history between them. Such as France being the #2 supplier of  military air craft to the Arabs after Russia.
