I have to say that I am both dissapointed and surprised by this. Graham is one of the few social conservatives that I both respected and admired. He always had a well thought out reason for his position, didn't use bumper sticker slogans, but displayed intellect and some moral courage. He's not some one I would vote for, but I'd I'd shake his hand after the fight and invite him for a beer and mean it. He's also someone from the religious right I listen to. Yet Sotomajor hasn't shown me that she is anything more than an AA candidate. Too bad.

How can you call Graham a "social" conservative? Mr Amnesty himself. How socially conservative is it to want to give 11 million illegal aliens citizenship and free services paid for by us? Graham is nothing more than a weak RINO. He would crumble and probably be another Spectre if not for McCain telling him how to vote.
I am a member of my nation's chosen soldiery.
God grant that I may not be found wanting,
that I will not fail this sacred trust.

He always seemed to be on board with Christian Right on abortion and the like. As I say, I wouldn't vote for him, but if you consider him to the left, you better get in line wth those writers on the Huffington Post who say BO has sold out to the right wing as someone who is destined to be hopelessly out of touch with mainstream American politics. Mind you, as a Libertrian I'd say c'mon in, the waters fine and some of those HuffPo girls are cute too. ;D

+1 on the Grahamnesty. He is from the same class of politics albeit different parties that pretty boy John Edwards came from....

It's all about opportunity! What I can I do now that I have a "some power"...

I hope the voters of SC, reflect what my former state of NC realized with Edwards,..,,,,regardless of party..They Suck!!!

Graham talks a good game, I hope he gets his pie hole crammed with voters during the August recess..

Way to stand on principles,....RINO....

Yes, those of us in SC are so proud.  When can we vote him out of office?  Answer: Not soon enough!

Graham is a sellout just like the traitor Trent Lott....in the mold of Bush.  Not that Bush wasn't the lesser of two evils...it's just a slighter slippery slope.

Modern politicians, are becoming more and more of the same cause to this countries problems. Regardless of party, one loses power and the majority vows to make it better,,,,than when in office are even worse than the previous.

Career politicians need to go, complicit Rino's, and the far left wackos need to go as well. Nothing gets done, it costs us "citizens" more to fund their bad policies, and our grandchildren will suffer because of it.

That's probably why Sarah Palin freaks so many out,,,,she doesn't give a flying "F***" about being ANOTHER politician.... the media and stereotypical pundits can't figure that out yet...
