As long as he gets reelected, why should he give a rat's ass what they think?  People get the government they deserve. :'(

The tree is looking a bit weak, needs something to perk it up I am afraid.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Today on WJR-Radio Detoit, an officer of the AFL-CIO said he was shocked by the behavior at recent town meetings on the health care bill.  He said the participants "were disrespectful" towards the Democrats.  Well shut my mouth and call me a Nazi!  How can you respect anyone whose job it is to look out for their constituent's interests and continue to endorse massive spending and readily admit that they have never even read the d--m bill!  In addition, they continue to mislead the public as to what they are proposing.  This "union man" then said they are going to encourage their membership to attend these meetings and see that everybody plays nice.  His demeanor sounded like a veiled threat to me.  There have been reports of some labor organizations physically threatening attendees who happen to have had enough of BHO and Congress.  We have probably seen the end to this form of town meetings because most people (according to recent polls) are fed up with legislators lecturing us on the things that are good for us instead of listening to us.  They will begin to "invite" those whose view point are in line with theirs and will parade these across the media landscape.
