You were talking about a postal match.

Here's an idea I had on it.

If anything seems of use to you, use it!  I've been a bit busy here to get it off and running.

Great idea!  Looks like something I'd really want to get my daughter into to.  Need something in the SE region though.

May the rimfire modifying / accurizing threads begin!

Armed and ready, lets go shoot!

Oh yeah, thats one FAST pig you've got in those video's! ;D

I'm very excited that these competitions are getting some traction.  I competed in the first Ruger Rimfire Challenge and had an absolute blast.  Bringing new shooters to these matches is a the best way I can imagine hook them on the shooting sports.  Between the low barrier to entry, the fun easygoing atmosphere, and the sheer fun of shooting these guns,  I bet BHO himself would find this addicting.  I really look forward to watching this sport grow and hope it gains the momentum and popularity of IDPA and IPSC.  This is the type of shooting sport that could really bring gun games mainstream and help change the public's perception of gun owners.

OK, I've spent enough time reading, thinking and talking to others about this.  I dropped Ruger an E-mail this evening with some questions.

Depending on how things go, I'd love to have all of you come to the great white north next summer for a shoot.

I think this is just what we need to get some activity going in our middle of no where land here.  I have a few options that I participate at, but they are all at a 100 mile radius.  We have had many say they would come here, but we need more here to make it happen.  Hopefully this will get us rolling.

I looked over the rimfire rule book and the only reference to rifle type is: “Rifle must be manually operated…bolt action, lever action, slide or pump action and iron sights.”

Did I miss something in the rule book about semi-auto rifles?

I can't wait for these matches to start in the SE.  I'll be tricking out my 22/45 with a 6" Pac-Lite for it, as soon as I get the money for it.

Can't wait!!
