Zogby poll - 83% believe in right to concealed carry

An overwhelming majority of Americans (83 percent) support concealed-carry laws, while only 11 percent oppose them. A majority of Independent voters (86 percent), Democrats (80 percent), young voters age 18-29 (83 percent), Hispanic voters (80 percent), and those who voted for President Obama (80 percent) support the right to carry a firearm.

If your Senator supports Sotomayor, get them a copy of this poll. The numbers on the "Hispanic voters" and the "Obama voters" should get their attention. Those 9 justices are the entire make-up of our 3 Federal government branch and they are appointed for LIFE.

This is one of the most important issues that we as gun owners will face.

Sent to both of mine in what I consider a very polite message that also requests that they also respond to my earlier e-mail.

I hate to fall into the group that has pre-conceived ideas of people and what they will do, but I'll be shocked if these two actually respond or if they do that it will have anything to do with what I have asked.

But ................................... I tried anyway.
