Interesting.  I would be concerned with the loud velcro noise when opening if in a situation where I was trying to get to a weapon without bringing attention to myself.  Just a thought......

Good point paraguy. I'm not a big fan of off body carry. Maybe for a second handgun and extra mags.

Agree in full with your point of off body carry.  Just checked out the new ruger LCR, it would not be much different than carrying a full set of keys with you from both a weight and size perspective.

Mil Spec Monkey is the PR branch of Mag Pul. So if he's on the 6 o'clock news it will probably say Cop in big letters on his vest.

As for using that admin pouch for CC, I am going to say probably not.  Too .mil looking, too slow ans noisy to access.
