To small to be useful for anything but to and from work.  When they can run a loaded cement truck up a hill on THEN I'll be impressed.

Hey, I probably drive less that 20 miles a week and mostly 3 or 4 miles at a time.  It would work for me, (but needs to be a small pick up ;) )

Yes, no carrying capacity, you would still need a REAL vehicle to haul your groceries.

True, but in the meantime we could put a good dent in the imported oil from the Middle East. BONUS!!!

Can hydrogen burn hot enough to generate the horse power of a gas or diesel engine ?

Doesn't matter. Haz is perfect example. If everyone who just needed to putt around town used one of these, how much oil could we save? Like wise, assuming it could be scaled up, so in town fleet vehicles like Taxi's, meter readers etc could use it? The sad thing is that its not coming out of Detroit.

Just like all the options we have now, it could be a good tool in the mix.  A good tool right up until yuppies start pouring $8 per gallon bottled water in it  ;D
