you will love this
in short

your only quota  is how much ammo you can carry when it comes to ferrel animals  here in australia

Illegal to shoot Native animals with out permits / tags.

the funny thing  is once you go through all the BS here to get your guns  once you have it we have some of the best hunting / shooting here in the world

here in SA you only need a general hunting permit  only about $25   this dose not cover ducks though ( more issues  and a test  with a season and limits )  there is different hunting permits from state to state though

also need permission from the land owners

and away you go.....

Sounds like fun!  Land is what I am lacking to shoot on. :(

I for one, see a drtv road trip in the making.Bolt action only I suppose, but not a hardship. Can international hunters bring Aussie legal guns in with them? Do they have to bring them home (this would be the bribe for you and your mate)? After all, its hot as hell here and cool where you are. I think a bit of low cost redneck camel shooting would have a few takers.

Yes you can, you need to advise first and fill out a bit of paperwork, but you surely can. Not sure how you would go about leaving them behind, I suppose it could be done easily enough through a dealer and then passed on.
Just make sure you bring over some 25/50rnd ruger 10/22 steel lipped mags with ya, philw wont need them but I know some one that could make use of them  ;D

PS its not exactly cool in the outback!

yep  that or this

should do the trick   ;D
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Gday all,
they are my pics that Phil has posted, the young bloke is my 3 year old.......... :)

as phil has said it is pretty isolated out here with the nearest Major town nearly 300 miles away,so trapping the horses and the like is a bit of a logistical nightmare.if you have Google Earth/Maps check out Newman Western Australia.

I use a Winchester Mod 70 in 7mmRem Mag with 160gr woodleigh Protected points at 2900fps and it does the job admirably i can tell you......... ;)

cheers
