Welcome back Walter. I saw a few of your posts today and it's nice to have you back.

Good to have you back.

Nope.... Mailmen.(That was a JOKE BTW, to any mail carriers on the forum...) ;D His favorite is burglars, but since I got him there's been a shortage of them at my house....... Actually a joint problem is why he's gotten that fat. He hurt his leg in November and the vet suspected a slight tear in the ligament. So I rested him a few months (Vet said at LEAST 3), and when I've taken him for a good walk or done obedience with him he seems to start limping real hard again. I took him to the vet for shots update, and told the vet about it (Different vet than the last time, at the same office), and he said to have him walk around in the hall way, and the vet didn't see any limp. It seems to come back when I do anything semi strenuous with him. But yeah I need to drop about 15 or 20 pounds off of him. The vet told me what you just said; that dropping weight will help his knee.

Welcome back Walt!

Have the doc check your dog for Lyme disease!  Wouldn't hurt and the test isn't that expensive....they make a vaccine now that I give my dog every year!
