I have to say, I am delighted that it was a black guy with the AR. I'm sorry, though not surprised, this wasn't mentioned. The thing is, the AR was overkill, but so are a lot of signs at these things. As long as they weren't in the town hall and understandably making SS twitchy, good for them. A bit over the top, but if everything is calm and organized its all a good thing.

Why?

As one protester said - I am because I can.

A gun is a gun, a protest is a protest, a statement is a statement.

The man did was he both legally and Constitutionally was allowed to do, he made a statement to the world, no one was hurt, and no one was arrested.

Well done Phoenix!
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Used to live in Phoenix years ago....it's not the same place I left, but maybe it's time to think about going back.

FQ. They are SUPPOSED to fear the retribution of the people, that's the whole point of the 2A. The MAJORITY should be carrying rifles, and if a couple cannon are available, even better.

??? What whas the difference with this rally and the hunter Joseph Calanchini with his rifle locked in a hard case who was cuffed and stuffed at a Denver hotel last summer because Nancy Pelosi was staying at that hotel prior the the Democrap Convention?
I used to be open minded but my brain kept falling out.

All the protests you hear about that no one carries to, and there's ALWAYS someone arrested for causing trouble...... THIS protest, everybody carries a gun to, and NO ONE IS ARRESTED OR EVEN ATTEMPTED to cause any trouble?? Did that occur to anyone else???  Kinda makes the "Carrying guns makes the Wild West return" argument seem stupid, don't it??? ;D

Not really, In the old west they tipped the hats to ladies, said "sir" and Ma'am", "please and thank you" and niether cut you off in traffic, (yes they had traffic) or flipped you the bird.
Seems to be several similarities.  Just not the ones the socialists think of.  ;D

The Major difference is that Phoenix is an American city while Denver has long been a bastion of UN socialism.
Remember after the Grenada invasion there was talk of criminal charges against Denver's Rep. Pat Schroeder and Ron Brown for passing classified documents to the Marxist Govt, and submitting their report for approval before they sent it to Reagan.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
