Irlene Mandrell

Okay, maybe it was the wrong topic (lock and load), but I'm surprised there weren't more comments about Irlene and her web site.

For those too young to remember the Mandrel sisters were a very popular singing group back when.   Irlene, the youngest, played drums and was a "Cover Girl" at one time.  STRIKE THAT.  She was THE poster girl for Cover Girl.  Anyway, even my wife sat up and took notice at Irlene's segment on shotguns.  She's sponsored by S&W right now.

Check out Irlene's home page and biography.

I checked her out on Wikipedia and I find this interesting tidbit:

"Mandrell married Rob Pincus in 1994, with whom she has one child."

Hmmmm..... Rob, is that you?

Ellen Irlene Mandrell (born January 29, 1956) is an American musician, actress and model. She is the younger sister of country singers Barbara Mandrell and Louise Mandrell.

Mandrell was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. She first rose to prominence as a model for Cover Girl, and later appeared on the top-rated yet short-lived Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters. After that left the air, she appeared on Hee Haw for a number of years. She has also appeared on two episodes of The Love Boat, and worked as a commercial spokesperson for a wide range of products. Wasn't she with CZ before switching to S&W?

I love (and respect) a heavily armed woman.
Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. - George Washington
