What is it about this design that disturbs me?

Wow, not only does that symbol show up on his page (duh) it's the ONLY symbol on the DNC's homepage.  No a$$, just a link to the barackobummer webpage with the little circle thingy on it.  There are a few pictures but not a logo.

PJTV did a vid on the 'symbol'.  They said (and I agree) it is a brilliant and scary thing.

I was reading this on my mobile.  When that logo is tiny it looks like a skull and crossbones.  Coincidence?
