Semi retired home re-modeler. These days I build hunting and fishing camps so I can visit them. Part of the contract. I also play bass guitar with some friends.

You should have a lot to talk about with TAB then , as he has not , intentionally, reached the semi retired stage yet.

Left Chrysler in April after 13 years. Applied for Park Ranger, Customs, Border Patrol, Immigration and part time teaching positions. Tough market out there at the moment. Figured being a veteran and having a couple of college degrees I would be able to find a job rather easy. Bad timing on my part. Now I am a collector of job denial letters and emails, LOL.  ;D

It is good to be out of control for time to time. That is why I love this forum.

As much as I dislike a lot of my job and the way it messes with personal life, I am thankful for it every time the paycheck doesn't bounce!

Ping, I don't know about you, but Tom and I have an issue with age.  That fifty mark scares a lot of employers.  Another issue for me if I were to ever need it is that my degree is good for one thing and one thing only.  I have friends that have found that out and returned to a business they were burnt out at.  They are both doing fine so far, but I often wonder how much longer they will (can) keep it up.

Good luck to all that are in the market!
