   I was sent to a navy base last week for a part time job I have. It was last friday. I was in and around the new 8th Distict Marine Headquarters on a base close to home. I was in the building for 3 hours and outside it for a couple of more hours. I was a better man by the end of the day. I haven't felt that good since my last visit to the Hill Country of Texas. I experienced something I thought was dead and gone.
 I was able to visit with the men and women while we worked. They had a " Can Do " way about them. Just hearing their views and their take on things going on in our world now. I wish I had the words to convey the feeling that washed over me while I was there. It made me proud to be an american just being around these MARINES. With all of the "Bad" we hear and see today. I saw and felt a bright spot in my everyday life that will stay with me forever.

According to the "old Corps", The "New Corps" are better educated, better trained, better equipped, and even better lead, than ever before in our 233 year history.
