Take a gallon of Hard Cider, (Cider that has been allowed to ferment until it has a high alcohol content)
Freeze it, pour off the remaining liquid, it's just about pure apple alcohol  ;D

Man, do I love this site or what? ? ? From the rising price of beer (BTW, we go through so much I think we can get a volume discount in the corner) to making pure apple alcohol. Where else can you find such a wealth of information? I ask you, where? ? ?

I can still find a case of Shiner on sale for $9.99 in central Texas during holidays.  It seems like over the past few months the bourbon and other goods have gotten more expensive.  Maybe I've just gotten poorer. :-\  Do they sell Shiner Bock in foreign states?
