New Hampshire Security Removes Retired Cop From Town Hall..

It is still going on, it is not going quietly into the night. Constituents are pissed, and it seems this is the method of "dealing with it"

As the anger over the nation's movement towards socialism grows, Democrats' patience with town hall meeting protesters is clearly wearing thin.

On Saturday, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) instructed security guards to escort what ended up being a retired New York City patrolman out of a fiery Manchester gathering.

More at link,... It's not going away folks, don't get comfortable. Security at a Va. town hall meeting said "This ain't America No Mo'", for a guy with a poster!!! link and video here at DRTV.

My local town halls are right after Labor Day, State & County, plus some Everglades Research group that wants $116.00!! >:(

My house value went down, but my local and state gov, says I need to PAY MORE???? For their inept wasteful BS?

It even makes my dinner taste bad thinking about it...

Lucky me, this is my congress cow. Good thing I didn't go  ;D

Just sent her a nastygram

I want to write you to voice my ire about your high handed manner.
You better get it through your head that you work for us, not the other
way around. If you don't figure this out, the next election will see you
back in Rochester baking cookies. Another thing, The US Constitution, that
you swore an oath to up hold, guarantees Citizens the right to free
speech, and the right to demand redress for grievances. You should read it
some time. In closing I would like to point out that I lived in Rochester
from 86 - 03, and I spent a lot of my free time in the Library
I never saw you there.

Had me wondering about that,...but like you, I have been thrown out of MUCH better places..... ::)

Seems the "new" reaction to town hall dissent, is just throw them out regardless of party affiliation.

Easier to stifle pissed off constituents by throwing them out, than answer them directly....

Nov. 2010 cannot get here fast enough... If Def-Con 1, doesn't happen first...

This came up in work today. What right does a Congress critter have to order law enforcement to do anything?
There not in the chain of command. They are not part of local government. Can any federal hack say to the local PD, I don't like his tone, arrest him.  No one was breaking the law, no one issued threats.

This stuff is total BS and wouldn't fly here.

Manchester notoriously stinks on this sort of thing, the last gun show I attended there they did not allow concealed carry at a Gun show. I was with other people so leaving was not an option, but I have not gone back for over a year.

Like it or not, TAB, cops are more apt to extend "professional courtesy" to retired cops than they are to retired chefs, retired contractors, or retired radio announcers.  That's the way it works in the real world.

TAB doesn't understand the "real world", he lives in Ca.

Title reads "Security" - were they real cops or rent-a-cops?

If real cops, raises once again the issue of LEO reaction when the Insect Overlords in DC start issuing all sort of roundup orders.

Update - OK, so I went and watched the video - they appear to be real cops. Time for a swarm of complaints to PD chief folks.
