Obama's approval rating reaches new low (again). So much for Kennedy's death giving the Dems a lift....

Quote
Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve while 83% of Republicans disapprove. As for those not affiliated with either major party, 66% disapprove

Also interesting to note:
Quote
Twenty-nine percent (29%) are confident that Congress knows what it’s doing when it comes to the economy. If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress.

This is the most telling number that he is losing the middle.  These are the people who move elections.

What's most disappointing is that 81% of self-described Democrats still think he is The Won and don't see how damaging and destructive he has been. Must be all Bush's fault, right FQ?

With the middle retracting, like it is, people have had it with both ruling parties. The "New Party govt" in now is allowing most of the same that was going on before. We got duped, terrorized, and robbed by both sides. I hope that this is a huge majority forming to start an American Party, by good, sane  people coming together for their own survival. It's class survival, ladies and gentlemen. We want jobs. We want dignity. We better keep our liberties too.

Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people, and not for profit, honor, or private interest of anyone man, family, or CLASS, of men.  John Adams

Those are the ones who have been voting Dem because great grand Dad voted Dem and they would not say anything bad about a DEM if he had horns and a tail.

There's just one problem with your thinking, Republicans do not have the consistent, 100 year + history of Party wide corruption as standard procedure, coupled with the Dems even longer history of suppression of civil rights.
Google "Tammany Hall", and "William Tweed".
