Quite a shocking realization I say. The comment by the officer that is. Shocking as it may be in this day and age and with what's going on, it's not surprising.

This is no more surprising then seeing the SEIU and ACORN people coming by bus load to town hall meetings.

Welcome to the world of cops. My apologies to current and former LEOs, but they ain't paid to think, just follow orders. You will not change there minds via argument or legal reasoning, or discources on the Constitution, they will follow their orders. The law (especially stuff like trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault or obstruction) will be redefined to mean "contempt of cop". They don't give a damn if you're convicted because they can put you in jail over night and cost you some money, and that's all they want. Its why a smart man forgets how to speak English except to state his name, address and request an attorney when the handcuffs go around his wrists. They may be there to protect and serve, but not serve YOU.

The reply to the protestors; "This is America." was a uniformed police officer stating "It ain't no mo."

That angers me to a point that I cannot express my opinion without very foul language being included. Which is a rarity when it comes to the amount of self control I possess when I am required to use it (I would understand the surprise of some by that comment). But I would not be fully understood without the use of 'colorful' language.

That is the same thing that happened to black protesters a long time ago. It was called racial discrimination, a violation of civil rights, bigotry, racist.
