I just hope that the conservative justices can hold out until Obama is out of office. As long as we are exchanging one liberal justice for another, I'm happy. We need to maintain the current balance and to keep the court conservative. Surely Obama cannot find another nominee as bad as Sotomayor.

2 words, Jack Wienstien.

The most overturned judge in America, he has even overturned his OWN rulings.

Honestly ? No, Wienstien is in his 70's, so there is no way he would be nominated but he has a protege there in NY, Leo Glasser, who is just as liberal.

Well, it did say the court's leading liberal. At least no change to the votes? I hope. lol
I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6!

2010 and 2012, may change things.....

Than again, the 2nd Revolution may happen before that time anyway,....

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Some body did a blog on how Hillary might be selected. His next appointments are to be watched after his last one.

Oh, please, never, ever challenge worse! There are many much worse than Soto - altho she sucks up one side and down the other. Think Bill Ayers or the wonk who just resigned. There is a huge talent pool of incompetency and liberal activism out there for bho to draw from.

Bill Ayers can't get the job, he never qualified for the bar,I think  you have to be a Federal judge now a days.

Technically no, pratically yes. Appointment  of the Court is an Article 2 power. He could nominate his dog. However the Senate wants someone competant (just ask Harriet Myers).
