Friday I was preparing for a single stack match.  I had not shot the 1911 for a few months so I took it to the range with 6 magazines I had already loaded.  First magazine I fired 5 rounds then pop!  The slide did not cycle.  The range master came over and said "You switch to 22".  I was holding the pistol down range in case of a slow cook off.  After a couple of minutes I dropped the magazine and cleared the slide.  The bullet was peeking out from the end of the barrel.  I hate that.

I was reloading a .308 the other night and  I kept finding gun powder everywhere, all over the press,  the table, ah no primer! No primers are better than an undetected squib. Wake up call for all.
Inspect all cases before verifyng all powder loads.

I guess If ya gotta botch a batch of reloads, leaving the primer out is the only safe way to do it...... ;) ;D
