OK, let me get this straight - Our DEA is executing military raids - with support from their own helicopter gunships - in Afghanistan? Is there anyone here who does not seriously think that the bho admin - or some other future admin - won't hesitate for a second to use this skillset and experience against home-grown terrorists clinging to their guns and Bibles?

EXCLUSIVE: FOX News has obtained new footage of a Drug Enforcement Adminstration Special Operations Raid on a drug compound in Afghanistan.

The money made from opium sales has proven ties to funding the Taliban. Oliver North, retired United States Marine Colonel and FOX News host, is traveling with members of the United States Military as they conduct the drug raids in Kandahar.

"It was a remarkable example of how quickly you can exploit really good intelligence," Col. North told FOX News from Kabul.

The raid was conducted to "separate the Taliban from a source of financial support, the opium trade," North said.

U.S. Military forces are "going into the Taliban strongholds. What you're now seeing is taking the fight to the Taliban," North told FOX News.

The efforts in Afghanistan are being carried out at the same time that Pakistani forces are fighting to crush the Taliban in Pakistan's Waziristan region and tribal areas.

And this worked soooooo well in Columbia, where we have totally kept the FARC away from cocaine revenue. And in Nicaragua, and Vietnam, except there we turned a blind eye to and assisted the trafficers because they were on our side. You want to seperate the Taliban from the source of their revenue? It costs the price of one piece of paper, saves billions and no one gets killed who wasn't determined to die  by their own hand anyway.

Who is the main drug competitor that would benefit from the destruction of the drugs coming out of Afghanistan?

Mexican Mud, Friend of mine when I was out in Ca had been in the Mexican Army, had a photo of him standing in the middle of a Poppy field. I asked if he was busting it or guarding it, he laughed and never did answer me.
