Here's the link -- please note that my podcast is in the player at the TOP of the page.  The embedded youtube video at the bottom isn't me.

That was a excellent review that I saw on You Tube before you posted it here. Again, I say thank you! I have several AR-15 rifles and will be looking to this conversion soon. If I may ask, where was the range this took place? It looked like a nice place to shoot. Did you find any drawbacks to the Ceiner Conversion?   Bill T.

Thanks but the YouTube review isn't mine.  Mark V just posted that in addition to my podcast.  You have to click the player at the top of page to listen to my podcast.

Drawbacks?  Yes, lots of them...listen to the podcast and I go over them in detail and how I solved them.

Another informative podcast, sorry you essentially had to rebuild it to get it to work right.
Ceiner's Customer Service got it's attitude from the man himself, apparently he is a real jerk.
Some one posted that they met him once and during the conversation asked him about some problems they were having. His reply was "if you don't like it don't buy it."

I have heard - but I HAVE NO FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE - that this is true of most of Ceiner's .22 conversions. Apparently customer service lacks too.

Thanks for the report!  You mention accuracy of 3 inches at 50 yards.  Is this true for all .22 shot from a .223?

Nice Report. I have a friend that was looking at the Ceiner's conversion, I'll pass on your report.

Thanks

Hi guys...here's an alternate link

http://gunrightsradio.com/forums2/index.php/topic,2644.0.html

To answer the question if .22's are all 3" at 50...I have a Ruger 10/22T that shoots <1" at 50...but with target ammo.  I consider what the Ceirner does not too bad at 50 given the issues with twist, bore diamter and the fact that I'm using a red dot.

Interesting review. I have a Ciener and it has worked without problems in my Bushmaster upper. No feed problems even with Remington bulk, save the numerous no fires.

The Black Dog mags are superb, they deserve some type of award for their products. I need to get more.

The mags are a trial to load to the advertised 27 but I have loaded both mags to their full capacity and they work flawlessly. I do have a mag loader coming from Midway, and a bad case of "Mag Thumb".

One Qualification, use plated ammo!
