Don't really like it in my opinion. Too much work to keep it safe when a AR is supposed to be exposed to the elements. I would do the same with an AK and did with a SKS I formerly owned. Wood is a no go for me. Wood is fine for practical/tactical purposes where it is not exposed to the elements as much. Again, my opinion.

Gotta agree with Tom here. I would prefer a wood stock on my AR IF I was planning on bayoneting and butt stroking someone with it. Otherwise, I like the collapsible plastic. Hell, if I had my choice ALL my hunting and SD guns would be in stainless and synthetic. I'll leave the wood to the heirloom guns, I lke them, I just prefer low maintainence in a gun and a woman.

The most admiring one is the walnut one. Unfortunately I don't even have the money to buy otherwise that would be the first priority.
