Been carrying/shooting an SR9 all week. I like it.
Using a Fobus paddle holster for the M&P. Not having any trouble w the action, controls, or mags. A nice trigger is good, but I don't need a nice trigger to do good work. The trigger is fine as is. Easier to load/release mags and a longer safety would be nice, but can live w them as is too.
It's a better pistol for me than the Glock. Feels way better in my hand, and I can shoot it way better one handed w either hand (or both hands) than my Glock. Sometimes a better grip trumps a better trigger? I doubt the FBI/DEA/USMS/NYPD/GSG9 etc will feel the same, and I doubt it will show up in the winner's circle at the games as much, but I don't really care. Not a Glock killer, but it is another good choice.
Was at the range w several CBP agents. They tried the SR9 and said they would rather carry it, or their old Glocks (or XD/M&P), than their new HK P2000 w LEM. Ya never know?
