Gun Show Today. The Good, Bad, and Unreal...
« on: September 20, 2009, 04:31:38 PM »
Sun Coast had a show today, finally found a left handed leather pocket holster for my Kel-Tec P3AT. ;D $25.00
I like it better than the Nemesis, but that's just me..

HKS speedloaders for my M971 .357, 2 FOR $10.00!! :o Got em'..

Bought 100 rds. of Federal .357 158gr JHP's  $40.00!!! ;D

DPMS Sportical's $650.00 NIB !!!!!!! (waiting on bonus), dammit..... :-\ That was the deal, get one and add stuff to it later....

S&W knives, $10.00. Not too bad, for a pocket clip.

PMC  .223's, $5.99 per 20. Couldn't resist getting 250rds...

They had Norinco's 7.62x39 with swiveled bayonet $400.00 NI(crate),....I remember when they were $99.00.... :-[

The unreal was the .380 ammo pricing  >:(.... $32.00 for 20rds. Speer GDHP. >:(  I paid $19.99 for the same box last year....

$27.00 for target varieties.  .45Colt, $27.00 for 225gr LSP. Demand for .380 is unreal...

Saw the new Sig .380, it is truly in line with the PPK style, but even a higher price... a lot lighter and smaller but very nice.

AR-15 mag couplers, $2.00 a piece. BUT they do not work well with PMAGS... Rest are fine...

My Sig 556 is now $2000.00 and up... depending on bells and whistles... (I paid $1200.00 Feb. 08.)

Mossberg 500 around $350.00 Rem. 870 a little more...

All in all a good show, shared a lunch table with a retired Marine who was in his late 70's. Spoke about his DI "teaching" him to shoot with his left eye closed on the rifle range during Basic Training. If you did it wrong the DI "closed it for you",...and how he won't live long enough to see this country taken back from the "dipsh**" as he called him... ;)

I told him we need him to "hang on", for it's his generation that is inspiring us younger fellers to fight the good fight against "dipsh**s"....

A fine man..

Need to get a hold of one of those DPMS packages,,, add the extras later... but all in all a decent show. Some prices good, some prices out of this world..

There were boxes of primers, although powder was high, plenty of brass and bullets for the reloader...

God Bless America... The "loophole" sellers were out, one guy had a Garand, he said it was his Fathers, and he had fallen on hard times and was trying to sell it.  :-[

That's a sad thing... He wanted it to go to a good home. I wish I had the money, I would have given it one...

Went to a local "swap meet" today at a local gun club. Only about a dozen tables.

I did get myself a gadsden flag! 3x5'   $5   Hope to fly it this spring in D.C.  ;D

You fly that flag!!! I'll be there!

Looking forward to Spring,.....Hope a DRTV caravan can have a rendezvous point in D.C. Than get to Old Town Alexandria for steamed clams and beer, across from the Torpedo Factory, at the Fish Market, right up on the Potomac. Cigar shop right across the brick and cobblestone street.... 8)

NRA convention at Charlotte, in May also....
