David Gregory of NBC News, asked him directly about Jimmy's comment....

Obama, contradicted and flat out said it is NOT race related....

So, the question is,:

Why does the media keep trotting out Jimmy Carter even if BHO probably wishes he would just STFU..?

BHO WANTS Jimmah out there saying what he's saying.  BHO wants the race card played whenever possible, and when he can get Jimmah to play it, he can keep his own hands clean.  Plausible deniability, my friend.
