Good to see a progessive company grow because it LISTENS to its customers and gives them what they want while at the same time putting forward design innovations to keep pace with the sport.

I am waiting for the STI Texican to arrive here for testing. The test is supposed to be for the CasCity.com site, but Tequila and I are planning on doing some in depth videos for DRTV on CAS guns and equipment. We will add the Texican to the work list.

First, let me say how much I am glad this forum exist, I am a big fan of SG, and every Wed. I am in front of the TV (unless it is a re-run). The piece on STI was awesome..I grew up not far from G-town near Burnet, TX. You can say the TX hill country is a virtual mecca of kick ass gun makers and trainers (LaRue Tactical, STI..etc.)Having said all that, I own a STI piece (Ranger II) it is my CC gun and I love it. 5,000 rds so far and no malfunctions.
The service I have received from STI after the sale is awesome also, first class people.
In my job, If I could cary a 2011, I would--but right now my G22 will suffice.....

Being a chief range officer for 20 years, I could not help but notice your cat like muzzle redirection move
on Mr. Skinner when He handed you the first pistol from the safe. The rest of the show was great, as usual.

Having fired STI pistols and seeing some of the bad sides to them I have to say when I see the work they actually do with those guns via this show I just knew all the issues I have ever seen (all 2 of them) are shooter or handload related. STI really does build some of the finest semi-production pistols on the market! Thanks for a baddass show Mike!

Too many years as an IPSC Rangemaster myself...you shoudl see me at the Grand, where all those shotgun barrels kept pointing at me. One guy actually asked me if I had a "nervous disorder." I said, as a matter of fact, yes I did...one that precluded having guns, loaded or not, pointed at me.

The dumbest thing I ever did was sell my competition EDGE...heaven knows I needed the money, but darn, I miss it! I think the Trojan single stack is one of the best buys in 1911s on the market, and I am still very fond of my LS-9, which was overhauled to my specs by gunsmith Dane Burns some years back.

I pl;an to add another EDGE, or possibly an Executive, to the ole arsenal sometime this year. I also want one of those cowboy guns, but Skinner tells me there's still a wait to get them into production. BTW, the Escort that i saw at SHOT was pretty slick...I may have to have one of those to keep my Detonics CombatMaster company!
