I'll just inject a bit of common sense here. Arms makers here in the United States produce and sell hundreds of thousands, if not
MILLIONS of guns in this country every year. Add into the equation all of the foreign manufacturers, AK-47 kits assembled and sold here by Century Arms, and many others too numerous to list, and we are talking millions of guns purchased here every year, along with
9 BILLION ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION to feed them all. I'll go way out on a limb here and say if the amount of guns in society was in
ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM proportionate to the crime rate, today we would have a crime rate that would make Big Al Capone's boy's look like school children! People who try and relate guns to crime by numbers generally fall into the Rosie O'Donnell category of the, "Fire can't melt steel", and, "We faked the Moon landing", whining, liberal Hollywood, short dick crowd.
