Actually, your pic is the vessel I was looking for, but couldn't remember her name....

Dollar Sign.

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Is this topic the Ultimate vehicle choice for the apocalypse, or Ultimate vehicle choice for the apocalypse that we can afford?

I think this is a more appropriate vessel for my pay scale.

I defer to my original post.  8)

VW Baja Bug "pre-apocalypse", I'm afraid getting to a sailing yacht "POST-apocalypse" is going to put you in a crowd of thousands shooting it out to do the same after.  Am I wrong thinking you can only live on fish a few weeks?

Keyword in the OP is apocalypse. That involves a catastrophic level that a stolen boat is the least of anyone's worries.

We're talking dogs and cats living together, ::: MASS HYSTERIA!! :o :o

Yacht's are probably not realistic, just like this thread, so stick to your VW, I'll stick to my yacht.  ;)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Genesis 9:9-11

9 "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10 and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."

The whole boat thing may be moot...

I'd bet on a whole bunch o fire.
The person who has nothing for which his is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
- J.S. Mill
