Haz, No, the cartridge stop is in the receiver so all the cartridges would be pushed out by the spring

That's what I thought.  Sorta defeats the purpose I think.

Defeats one purpose, but:  http://www.alpharubicon.com/leo/rubiconspeedloader.htm

That's a pretty cool speedloader set-up! My main reasons for wanting a take-down is size. I handled one of the Chiappas a while back...quick to break down, quick to put back together and an impressively small package. Also an impressively expensive package...I know I'm not supposed to notice such things, but darn!

Not a good one for me. I couldn't get it to play past 13 min and 49 sec into the podcast tonight  :'(.

I reloaded it several times, signed out, then back on, tried it again, still wouldn't play beyond 13 min 49 sec. i tried relistening to last weeks and it was fine to the end.

I must have been a bad boy this week.  :(

How about a rifle caliber takedown like a savage 99 in 250-3000 ,or a winchester in 25-35 .
