What you need to understand, though, TAB, is that most places in this great nation are NOT 3rd world countries like Kalifornia, New York, Chicago, etc.  So while I will give you the point in those areas, MOST people don't live in metropolitan areas in this country.  In my state, for example, ER docs can go years, sometimes their entire career, without seeing a gunshot wound.

How did I not hear about this.  Hmm.. I live just up the road from Btown and have several friends and relatives down there?  Heck I even know people that bank at that bank.  I guess the QC News didn't deam it worthy.  :s  Oh well.  The sheriff down there is pro CCW and I have met Johnstone several times from my LE Days.  Either way.  +1 for the good guys.  Just too bad he had to go to his vehicle to retrive the gun.

It was a decent story that seemed to not need to have the part about the CCW. The news and readers in Iowa may have an entirely different perspective on the subject than if it were here in southern California. At any rate, I'm glad that at least the CCW holder was still portrayed as one of the good guys.
