Now I love to hunt, and don't disagree with a minimalist approach, it's just not me, I hunt, I compete and I shoot for fun, and I like guns of all kinds.
Enjoy the porn.
Main hunting battery.

Left to right.
1) CZ zkm 617, .17 HMR semi auto, all around small game.
2) Rem 788 .222, shoots .33" groups at 100 yards, can you say Crow medicine.
3) CZ 527 .223, single set trigger, mag fed, 6x24 B&L scope, beautiful and light, many uses, killed my 151 Boone and Crockett with it, because it was in my hands and he was there, neck shot at 80 yards, Barnes X .55 grn.
4) Rem 788 in .308, Scout configuration, nice to carry, brutal off the bench at 6 1/2 lbs. Good woods gun.
5) Rem 788 in 7mm08, I have had this since 1978, when the 7mm08 came out, 154.00 at Gibsons discount store, I will never sell it, I glass bedded the stock, painted it, installed a Canjar trigger, and have left it alone. It is a .5" rifle, used it for hunting and competition, it never let me down. PS, We used to have a hunting rifle competition in FT.Worth, it won everytime, it was used.
6) Rem 700 VLS, .243 Ackley improved, Shilen barrel and trigger, glass bedded, blueprinted action, 8x32 Burris, Prairie dogs at a long way off.
7) Rem Model 7, 7mm08, bone stock, Momma's rifle, with Hornaday light magnum 139 grn, is a .5" gun for 3 shots, momma likes head shots, and makes them, even on turkey.

Sako Finbear, .338 Winmag, McMillan stock, muzzle break, Elk, Nilgai, Bear, big critters, although I did use it for white tail when I 1st got it, I like to blood my guns as soon as I can.
9) Spanish Mauser, in 7.62x39, had to have it, and at 125 bucks was cool, still working with it, shoots groups like an SKS so far.

1) Marlin 39A with the cute Leupold 4x, 3/4" tube, walking the woods looking for squirrels, rabbits, coons and such.
2) Marlin 336, recent arrival, now has a Trijicon Reflex, should be a great hog gun.

Hunting handguns, Ultralite arms, model 20, left hand bolt, right hand grip, 10 round box mag, 7mm IHMSA, built for the Masters tournament, but used for hunting, it just ain't fair.

Model 29 classic hunter, .44mag, with 2x Tasco, pro series 30mm scope, great on whitetail to 150 yrds, 1 coyote, 6 white tail, numerous targets of oppurtunity.

Not a hunting handgun? This model 21 has killed more game than all but my shotguns and prairie dog gun. Rabbits, squirrels, snakes, coons and white tail.

Specialty rifle, when the distances can be long, FN Spr .308, Leupold 3.5x10 Mk4, M3, mildot, illuminated reticle.

My baby M40 USMC sniper rifle, Krieger barrel, McMIllan A3 stock, timney trigger, 4.5x14 Leupold MK4, LTR scope, mildot. Badger extended rail, with 10 MOA elevation built in. 10lbs and easy to carry, unlike my real M40, 18lbs.

Utility rifle, DPMS 16" with aimpoint comp c3, but as you see, can be used for hunting.
No pics.
1) 1187 12ga, premier, nice field gun.
2) Silma O/U 12 ga, great bird gun.
3) 870 express 12ga, great when the weather may be nasty.
