Can anyone tell me what type of weapon Al Pacino was carrying in the botched bank robbery gun battle in the movie "Heat"

I haven't seen it lately, but as I recall, it was an HK-91/FAL/CETME. I remember trying to check it out more closely, but usually it was in motion - being brought up to the shoulder or he was running.

FN FNC in 5.56mm.  When I fist saw the movie, I wondered what that rifle was as well.  Since it is one of my favorites, I watched it enough to finally figure it out.

The actual FNC used in that movie was up for a sale a few years back. Asking price was somewhere in the twenties if I recall correctly; you can be sure it's much higher now.
