Blame Michael.  He trained the Rat and her babies to go after you because you weren't listening to Down Range Radio.  You should drag out the ol coffin anyways now.  You already suffered for it, so enjoy it.

That reads like a preface to a Stephen King novel!

You from Derry, NH by any chance?

We had a truck driver come in yesterday with a pet rat on his shoulder that travels with him....

Holy Sh**it.... I aint reading all that!

Seriously..... 17 paragraphs ??? My gosh, the first three paragraphs were nothing but rambling hoo-ha! I dont know what kind of cold medicine you are on, but you might want to scale it back a little now that you are feeling better.

I stopped reading at "ok.... back to my story.....". Can someone please give me the condensed version?

M'ette.

Sick.

Over-medicated and bored.

Rambling through an overcrowded barn.

Big Rat.

Squeak.

Sh*t!

Run.

Write about it for all to have a laugh.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Great story! What fun would it be getting the "old" Halloween crap without getting the "crap" scared out of you....

Trick or Treat Marshal'ette. Some traps, or that Barney Purple .22 should resolve the rat issue... ::)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

This should be in the joke thread, ROTFLMAO,  real humor is about real life, this is it. Glad your back.

Been in a deer blind, phone booth type, in the dark waiting for daylight, hearing things crawling around, got the flashlight out, to find mice not digging my presence, in their domicile, sucks, but improvise overcome adapt. I did not squash them in the blind, because, I did not want to alarm local game. Later we took action. I don't like rats or mice, especially on ME.

Nice story T.
