These scraps of human trash herded seven people into a restaurant cooler in Palatine, Illinois, 17 years ago and slaughtered them -- just to do something.   Two of them were my childhood friend, Richard, and his wife, Lynn.

Maybe it's just as well they sit on their asses in prison for the rest of their miserable lives.  If they were on Death Row they'd get better food.

Illinois has become incredibly weak, else why would dickie daley still be walking around free?

Cook County, home of entertaining the most rediculous class action lawsuits, and they pass muster? I'm not shocked.
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

I'm sorry they're not getting what you think they deserve. I would offer this as consolation though. Personally, if I were given the choice between spending the rest of my life in prison with no parole, or a quick painless death, I would take the needle. Death is quick and final. prison is hard, painful, unpleasent, dangerous, humiliating and every day until the SOBs die. Karma is served.

I'm coming around to seeing it that way, FQ13.  They're not hardened criminals, who are better able to play the prison environment to their advantage.  They're just punks who wanted a thrill.  Paying for it with 30 or 40 more years of confinement should be a pretty good payback for that thrill.
