Good for you TAB! I'm in Sonoma County, Petaluma to be exact, and I have to get Petaluma PD Chief to grant one. How many have ever succeeded?  One. I need to figure out how to move to Mendocino County...

thats actually going the speed limit.  Its just over a 100 miles from my house to the ramp.    most of that is 65( 55 max speed towing)  Thats taking 80, now if I take 50, its atleast 2.5 hours, only about 20 miles diffrence, but 50 is steeper and has alot more  twists and turns.  Towing the boat its about 4 hours. lots of sections were you can't go faster then about 20 mph.

I thought for sure it was either a Buck Rogers Magic Decoder Ring, or something from Victoria's Secret for the Mrs..

But hey a CCW in Kalifornia? :o

I figure they should all be "nullified" by 2010. It's a Feinstien thing,.... ;)

Congratulations, let us know how that hope and change works out with ammo. :-\

Congrats TAB.

Heck, a CCW permit in Kal-ah-4-ny-A is about like hitting the lottery ain't it?   ;D
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

depends on which county you live in.  Out side of the urban areas they are easy to get.

In sacramento county, the old joke was, you had to be giving the sheriff a BJ to get one.

The few he did give out, half of them turned out to be graft/ illegal.  Now there is a new sheriff that said he was going to start giving them out...  the 1st thing he did... out of the 6 legal non leo CCWs in the county, 3 came up for renewal... they were denied.

Good old diane feinstein, has had one for well over 30 years, from san fransico county no less.

When I was in Alameda County it was easy to get a carry permit, all it took was $3000.
No, I did not have one  ;D
