I have been past there. Its about  30min North of my sis in N GA.

Rabun County, GA....we go through there on our way to Cherokee, NC and Pigeon Forge, TN from time to time.
Might stop in next time for sh*ts and giggles.
Nice scenery in that area.

Tallulah Gorge (about 10 mi. south of Clayton on 441) is also a nice place to visit in that area.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I lived up there in Cornelia (Habersham county) for just over a year while working out of Atlanta.

My sis/brother n law/nephew have an RV and a almost permanent spot at the gorge.
It is very beautiful area. So WAS Cherokee NC until the casino took over. I was just up there visiting in June.
Went to the US Army Rangers open house day. That was a blast.
