Pumps run on electricity, no juice, no water, or gas, no cooking or heating for many homes, even oil heat uses electric thermostats and igniters.

Rastus has started a couple threads on the effects of EMP. The only one I could search out was this one

That's why we need to stop Iran and NK from being able to deploy at any cost.

In the video's posted above the author of "One Second After" speaks of an EMP attack.  Anybody read the book?

I'm half way through it now.  It paints a VERY realistic, dark picture. 

If you haven't read it, consider it was said in Congress.  All American's should read and learn from this book.  I agree.
