Virginia Turns Red
« on: November 03, 2009, 07:01:57 PM »
Fox news has projected McDonnel a victory for Governor.

Glad to see Va. turn "Red" again.

I hope the whole NJ, NY, VA, deal shakes them all up.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Obama is finally reducing unemployment for republican (politicians)

Sort of like what he has done for guns and ammo sales.

I posted this as a thread starter

Virginia is like Florida, an important state, but useless for predictions of national trends. Like Florida, its two states, a Democratic NoVa suburbia and a GOP small town base. Turnout is the key. The only way to tell if the race is predictive of anything is a precint level analysis of turnout. If the Dems stay home out of dissillusionment and the GOP turns out out of anger, it could be indicative, if not, I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
