Actually Bill that is in a general way correct, There were other issues involved, but the last incidents leading up to the shooting revolved around the "No guns" policy.

KILLEEN, Texas (AP) — A lawyer for the Army psychiatrist accused in a deadly shooting spree at Fort Hood said Monday he asked investigators not to question his client and expressed doubt that the suspect would be able to get a fair trial, given the widespread attention to the case.

This shouldn't be to big a problem. This happened on a military installation the murderer is a military officer so this should be a military court marshall!!!!! I'm sure he will spend a very long time in Ft. Leavenworth!!! Besides a death sentence would be to nice for him, I wouldn't want him to meet his 72 virgins any time soon. At least not till he's incapable of doing anything with them.

I think even in prisons (especially in military prisons) they probably have a form of the code of ethics, and this is probably a violation of them.
